I was a huge fan when she just did stand-up. She's always had this gentle but genuinely funny type of humor that seems so rare these days. I am thrilled for her (from afar) that her show is doing so well. I love that video clip too! It really illustrates how down to earth she is and kind to the woman on the phone. I read about her beginnings in "Comic Insights: The Art of Stand-up Comedy". I'm glad she's on your list, Robert! Ooooh, and I'm going to tell her, too. :) I have loved Ellen for many years.
