I hope you read my reply to your comment on Dover’s World and also thought I’d mention that, since you’re in the neighborhood, you might want to attend the auction of watches and jewelry taken by Peoples State Bank which Joe had used as collateral for loans. Hi Mark.

You are pretty much right on with your comments, but let me assure you of two things. First, the wheels of justice are turning and, as I promised in my last post, the authorities are on the case from coast to coast.
Secondly, many of the people Zada is indebted to are firefighters and police officers, most certainly not upper income folk. They have, in some cases, suffered in relatively far greater ways than Serge Federov or Robert and myself.
Oh, and by the way, I found out that Dr. Mike Donaldson was promised payment of the Monday following an agreement which included his 180 degree about face of his post which appeared briefly on my site.
As I said, I attempted to contact Mike right after he posted his statement but never heard back from him. Naturally, Monday came and went without Mike receiving his money, so I wonder how he’s feeling now.
Actually, I don’t have to wonder - I know exactly how he feels!

Robert,

Appreciate your situation but if you have documentation that you invested millions with Zada in an oil deal and you have not received your money back, isn’t it time you turned your documentation over to the proper authorities? With judgments being obtained against Zada, including your own, you better hurry up before everything is gone if it isn’t gone already. If Zada converted your investment money to his personal use, he is guilty of fraud and should be prosecuted.
You state that you hope he comes through but shouldn’t it be obvious that something might be criminally wrong?

Dear R & R, I think the man read the “Great Gatsby” onw too many times. Fabulous novel, Not real life. To this day F.S.Fitzgerald spun the best tales of grandeur. I wish you ALL the best on getting your $$$ settled with this enigma. First time I was introduced to him, immediate thump in my gut, a limp handshake (if one could call it that) and his eyes in some muscle queen the entire time. Where or what ever his breeding is, it showed in 30 seconds. None. I learned all that in a private school (no pretense to gentry here, but manners are manners) by the time I was 8 years old. Maybe he was still toiling soil for oil at the age, but I am sorry you all got mixed up with what looks like a ponzi deal. Might not be the only ponzi scheme doing on down there in Wellington.

The people that know me well know that I am a very private person. I have never commented on a blog site and I have tried to avoid being in the press. I find great joy in doing things that help others, but always prefer to work behind the scenes. However, I feel that the current circumstance requires me to speak up. While I find this extremely difficult to do, I do not want an injustice to continue. I want to start by saying Joe Zada was my closest friend in the world. We spoke almost daily (sometimes a few times a day) for over a decade. We had horses together, vacationed together, and he lived in my house for several years. So I hope you can understand why the following is so difficult for me to say.
Joe originally came to me and told me about these investments he had been doing in oil in Saudi Arabia. He said they would buy these huge oil tankers when oil was cheap(er) and then sell at the beginning of summer when oil prices went up and this is how he was making so much money. (I kept the print outs that he gave me showing me the huge gains oil had been making in the previous cycles) Just over two years ago he came to me and told me that they were projecting skyrocketing oil prices over the next few months and that I should go to my family and friends and tell them about this once in a lifetime investment opportunity. As far as I knew Joe had always been up front and honest in the past, so I believed what he was telling me. I did ask my lawyer of many years to check into the whole thing and he told me he met with all parties and this was a legitimate investment deal and that he had invested in this opportunity as well.
So I am the one who originally told Ron Davis and other friends and family about the business opportunity that Joe had presented. (Therefore, I know for a fact, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Ron Davis is telling the truth- and that other friends and family invested as well)
What happened next is exactly what Joe had predicted. Oil prices skyrocketed, except one problem, when we were supposed to get our money back as promised on July 1, 2007 it did not happen. Since then we have been promised money every few weeks or months and either the check did not clear, or we were told not to deposit it, or the wire did not arrive. This has happened dozens of times. Every few weeks or months we would get another excuse for the delay, usually by text message, but to this day we have not been told where our money went or what the problem is. Joe told us he had signed a confidentiality agreement with the Saudi investors and that he could not reveal to us where the money is. I do know that the story has changed more times then I care to remember.
Just recently I started getting lots of phone calls from other people who are in the same situation, and realized the extent of people who “invested” their life savings with Joe. Most people have told me that Joe said if they said anything to anyone they would not see a penny, so most people are afraid to come out in the open about this. But that is starting to change. I know that if I did not speak up now that I have learned what has happened to so many people, and this allowed new innocent people to fall into the same trap then I could not forgive myself. One thing I can say for sure about Ron Davis is that I am proud of him for taking a stand, for trying to find out the truth, and for going public under such difficult circumstances.
Even though I have much guilt over the whole thing, Ron and my other friends and family have never placed blame on me or let it affect our friendships and for this I am truly blessed. As for Joe Zada, I still have a faint hope that circumstances were beyond his control, and that he will still come thru, but this hope is fading fast.

Thanks, Beth. As I have said, I began investing money with Joe over 10 years ago, always believing it was in oil along with his own. That is until 2 years ago when the story somewhat changed.
Joe still says, as recently as last week on his Zadaresponds.com that he will resolve everything and pay his debtors imminently;however, I have been hearing that for 2 years now as well.
I will keep my readers informed as promised, and truly hope Joe will finally live up to his promises.
