I am so happy to be home with my boys, Robert and Simon! I decided I had to go buy Simon a couple of toys and some new bones at Petco, my real home away from home. Naturally, he loves his toys to death - literally! Withing 15 minutes he has not only torn the squeaker out of them but all the stuffing as well , until I have no choice but to throw them out. But just so you know I actually do attempt to buy him toys, I decided a picture was worth a thousand words.

my dog does the same thing…… hit a family garage sale and let Simon pick a few of his own stuffies. And you could get them for pennies or maybe quarters!!!! good deal especially if they only last a day…..

Just a note (not sure if everyone know this) Always buy pet approved stuffed toys, as Children’s stuffed toys are made with a toxic fire-retardant filling that turns to gel. I have seen to many dogs with a solid black mass in their intestines, usually not a good out come.

We are breeders of Mini Schnauzers so I know exactly what you mean when you say they love their toys to death. We are constantly replacing torn and dead toys. With five of them in the house, you can imagine that this happens quite frequently. Cute boy you have…..
