Married And Other News!
I’m sorry I’ve been gone for a while but I was getting married to my boyfriend of 25 years, Robert Ross, and the whole thing kept me otherwise occupied, as you can imagine. We were married on the beach in Fire Island with just a few close friends and Robert’s Mom present. It was a beautiful night and we enjoyed a lovely dinner on our deck under the stars. Two nights later, our friends, Ken and Scott, also married at the same time as us, had another great party for us all and about 50 friends at their home in Flemington, NJ. It was another beautiful night and at one point our friend, Mimi, made a speech in which she commented that most people’s he knows, after 25 years together, are getting divorced, not married! Too funny and true at the same time!
Robert and I are enjoying our last weekend here in the Pines and will be flying song with Simon, our dog, back to our home in Wellington on Monday for good. I am sad to be at the end of another great summer but need to get back to work as I’m leaving for Europe on a buying trip already on Wednesday with the hope of finding great horses for mY riders. Such a difficult job these days! I will be in 5 countries in as many days.
Upon my return, Robert and I are going to Austin, TX, for a Realestate meeting for him and my sister, Margo’s birthday as well on the 17th. I am looking forward to seeing her and my other family out there!
From there I go to Devon on the 24th until the 29th and will be observing and helping my students competing there. Devon is always a great show for riders and spectators alike. I hope to see you there!
GO TEAM USA!!!
